About the Program
Kumon of Las Vegas Centennial Hills is at 6955 N Durango Drive, Suite 1002 in the 89149 zip, phone 702.850.3533, with the instructor reachable at jamielee@ikumon.com. Like every Kumon center it runs two programs on daily worksheets. The math program moves from counting and basic operations through fractions, algebra, trigonometry, calculus and statistics; the reading program moves from pre reading skills and vocabulary through grammar, sentence building and comprehension.
Worksheets can now be done on a tablet with a stylus through Kumon Connect, with a parent portal to watch progress, so the commute to the center is less of a factor than it used to be.
The center offers a free assessment as the entry point. At the time of reading, new students enrolling between September 1 and October 31, 2026 could earn up to $100 in Amazon gift cards paid out over 13 months of continuous enrollment. Ages, tuition and class hours are on the center's own pages; most centers are independently owned.

First Visit Guide
What most tutoring centers expect. Confirm the details with Kumon Math and Reading Center of Las Vegas - Centennial Hills before you go.
What to bring
- Recent schoolwork, the report card, or teacher notes. This is the most useful thing you can carry in the door.
- School-issued logins, since many tutors work inside the same curriculum CCSD uses
- Your child's IEP or 504 if they have one and you're comfortable sharing it
Before you go
- Most centers start with an assessment, often free. Book it when your child is fresh, not at 6 pm after practice.
- Ask how progress gets reported back to you and how often.
The first visit
The first visit is the assessment, then a proposed plan: subjects, how often, group or one-on-one. Walk out knowing the per-session cost and the commitment length, and ask how they handle CCSD break weeks.
For sensory-sensitive kids
Ask whether sessions run one-on-one, in small pods, or on an open floor. Kids who hold it together all day at school often need the quiet room after the bell.
What should we bring to a tutoring assessment?
Recent schoolwork and the report card. An IEP or 504 helps the tutor line up supports if you choose to share it.
Is tutoring one-on-one?
Depends on the center. One-on-one, small group, and pods all exist, and price follows the ratio, so ask what your quote buys.
