Casual Chess Club

Casual Chess Club, at 7750 S Jones Blvd in Las Vegas, zip code 89139, runs youth chess classes, private chess lessons, and weekly chess tournaments for kids ages 5 to 18, split into 5 to 12 and 13 to 18 age brackets. The listing describes small class sizes, a structured curriculum, experienced instructors, and a welcome to all skill levels, so a first-time player and a more experienced tournament kid can both find a fitting class or lesson format. It is filed under Enrichment & Hobbies, specifically Chess.

Posted hours are limited to a single day: the club is open Thursday from 3 PM to 8:30 PM, with every other day of the week listed as closed. That narrow window suggests Thursday is the main in-person meeting time for classes and tournaments, and private lessons may be scheduled separately outside that window, though the listing does not confirm that directly. The club operates year-round on this weekly schedule rather than in seasonal sessions, and no scholarship or sibling discount details are included in the listing.

No phone number is listed for this club, and no pricing or scholarship information is included either, so families should visit casualchessclub.com to check current class times within the Thursday window, tournament formats, and how private lessons are scheduled outside regular club hours.

Because the club groups ages 5 to 12 and 13 to 18 separately, a family with kids in both ranges should check the website to see whether classes for each bracket run at different points during that same Thursday window, or on different weeks entirely. No Google rating data was available for this location at the time of this listing.
