Ada Lovelace Day Gallery: Toddler Town – Level 1 Description: Read Ada Lovelace: My First Ada Lovelace, written by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara and illustrated by Zafouko Yamamoto, and create your own masterpiece inspired by the patterns and thinking machine Ada imagined. Supported by Gallery: Young at Art – Level 3 Description: Mathematician Ada Lovelace worked with Charles Babbage on his “Analytical Engine” in 1843. Inspired by weaving machines at the time, she theorized the Analytical Engine might be able to follow patterns to perform a task, making her the first person to envision computing languages! Use numbers to weave patterns as she imagined. Gallery: Patents Pending Science Bench – Level 3 Description: 3, 2, 1—Meet Ada Lovelace, called the Enchantress of Numbers.
