About the Program
The UNLV SRWC Pool is the natatorium inside the Student Recreation and Wellness Center on the main campus at 4505 S Maryland Pkwy: a 25 yard, six lane lap pool, a shallow leisure pool with a vortex current, a 13 person spa, a wet classroom and an accessibility chair for getting into the water. At least two lanes stay open for lap swim whenever the pool is open.
Campus Rec runs group and private swim lessons and American Red Cross certification classes, and groups can book pool parties. The aquatics page does not state ages for lessons or mention adaptive lessons, so ask the aquatics coordinator, Tamas Bosnyak, at 702-774-7113 what ages the current session covers.
Members swim as part of their membership. Non members can buy a $15 day pass, but the buyer must be at least 18 with a government ID, so plan on an adult going with your child. Hours change each semester.
