Kristie's Music Studio

Kristie's Music Studio is a one teacher harp and piano studio in Summerlin, near Charleston and the 215. Dr. Kristie Smith holds a Doctor of Music from Indiana University, where she studied with Susann McDonald, and has taught for more than 20 years. Lessons are one on one, usually 25 minutes, and she encourages parents to sit in. She takes students from age 5 and up and says so plainly: for the 0 to 5 crowd she points families to Music Together group classes instead. Two things to know before you call. Piano students must have an acoustic piano at home, not a keyboard, before formal lessons start, and new students begin with a paid assessment lesson to check fit. Rates are by request, billed one lesson at a time through her booking system, with a 24 hour cancellation policy. Her students have won LVMTA and Henderson Symphony competitions.
