Brill Music Academy

Brill Music Academy at 8534 Del Webb Boulevard (89134) in the northwest teaches private, one on one lessons in piano, guitar and ukulele, voice, drums, bass, violin and viola, brass and saxophone, with virtual lessons and some group classes, including a summer vocal lab. The academy is specific about starting ages, which is useful: piano and violin around 5, voice around 6, guitar and ukulele around 7 or 8, and it argues that starting too early backfires more often than waiting a year. Lessons are weekly, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, and instructors help kids prep for school band and orchestra auditions, a common reason families sign up. One convenience for families with more than one musician: multiple instruments can be scheduled the same day in one building.
