About the Program
Autism Care West at 2075 East Windmill Lane, Suite 150 (89123) in the southeast valley, has delivered Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention, the ABA model for very young children, in Southern Nevada since 2009. The practice starts services for children under age 4 and works both in its own center, described as playful and well resourced, and in the family's home. Families are part of the program by design, with education, training and ongoing guidance so what happens in session carries into daily life. Founder Charles Marriott is a BCBA who began working with families in 2004; clinic director Dr. Janelle Saunders holds a Ph.D. in special education from UNLV and teaches graduate courses there, and executive director Jon Paul Saunders trained under Ivar Lovaas at UCLA and has a sibling with autism.
