About the Program

Gracie Barra Henderson is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school at 55 S Gibson Rd, Suite 117 in Henderson (89012), part of the Gracie Barra network of more than 1,000 schools. Kids are grouped tightly by age: Tiny Champions for 3 and 4 year olds, Little Champions for 5 and 6, Juniors for 7 to 12, Teens from 13 up, and a daytime Homeschoolers class for ages 7 to 12, which is a rare find for homeschool families in Henderson. Adults have gi and no gi classes, and private lessons are available.

The site describes BJJ as ground grappling built on holds, throws and submissions, and pitches it for kids as a way to gain confidence and fitness and to handle a larger opponent without hurting them.

The first class is free. Prices and the weekly schedule are on the Schedule page (not captured here); call (725) 222-9470 or email info@graciebarrahenderson.com. It shares the Gibson Road plaza with Legacy Dance, handy if siblings do both.
