Students will learn the fundamentals of working with clay, including cutting, molding, finishing, slipping and scoring, and glazing techniques.Through a variety of engaging projects, students will experiment with different hand building methods while creating functional and decorative pieces. Projects may include personalized magnets, plates with formed and added elements, pinch pots, and mugs. Students will develop confidence in shaping and decorating clay while learning how texture, form, and glaze can transform their creations.
