THIS PROGRAM REQUIRES REGISTRATION. Please reserve a space for each child that will be participating in the program. Green Lab Arizona: Climate Detectives is a free, hands-on climate science workshop for children ages 6–12, presented by Acumen Haven. Kids will explore why some surfaces get hotter than others, investigate a neighborhood heat map, plant their own microgreens, and become Climate Detectives through fun, interactive activities. Each child will take home a microgreen growing kit, a personalized neighborhood heat map, a detective wristband, and a collectible Sonoran Desert animal card. This session is limited to 25 children. Each month, kids ages 6-12 explore a new STEAM theme. Our hands-on projects provide a fun way to practice following directions, explore basic science, and learn concepts in technology, engineering, art, and math.
