Level 2 Unified Golf is for those continuing to develop fundamental skills who have Unified Golf experience and are scoring under 70 in a 9-hole, Alternating Shot, Unified (partner play) round. You must provide your own Unified Partner, who must complete the Special Olympics Arizona (SOAZ) Coaches Training and clear the background checks before practice begins. Please provide your 6 your most recent golf scorecards on the first day of practice. By registering for this program, you are committing to attend a minimum of 8 practices, and committing to compete in both the SOAZ Area and SOAZ State Tournament. Practices Mondays, September 21 - December 5 Practice Times & Locations Vary: Sept. 21 & 28: Topgolf Scottsdale, 4:15-5:30 p.m. Oct. 5 - Dec. 5: Silverado Golf Club, 4:30-6 p.m. *No practice on October 12 SOAZ Regional Tournament Saturday, November 7, 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. Encanto 18 2775 N. 15th Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85007 SOAZ State Tournament Saturday, December 5, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sun City Golf Course 9433 N. 107th Ave. Sun City, AZ 85351 Current Adaptive Rec and SOAZ Athlete Medical Forms must be submitted to AdaptiveRecreation@ScottsdaleAZ.gov prior to the first practice. Special Olympics programs are designed for those who are neurodivergent. Fees for this program are non-refundable.
