This class is perfect for students who are ready to create more detailed projects. Learn how to sew from a pattern, opening the door to creating garments, costumes, and more. This class will cover sleeves, collars, buttonholes, and additional essential skills. Bring your own sewing machine or borrow one from class. Supply list will print on receipt. Supply List We will discuss patterns and fabric in the first class. Fabric can be purchased after the first class. • Sewing machine (or we have a few that can be borrowed in class) • Fusible Interfacing • Fabric (after the project is selected) • Notions needed for project. • Tracing wheel • Dressmakers tracing paper • Scissors- 8” fabric shears • Thread snips or small scissors • Thread • Seam ripper • Measuring tape • Hand sewing needles • Needle threader • Pin cushion • Box to carry sewing supplies These items can be found at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and Amazon. These stores also sell basic sewing kits with all the items you need.
