A hands-on, confidence-building class that helps kids learn to balance, start, stop, steer, and ride independently. Instruction is individualized, with lots of practice time and simple games that build core riding skills in a safe, supportive environment. We strongly encourage a parent or caregiver to participate alongside each student. Adults do not need to bring a bike. The goal is for caregivers to learn the same techniques we teach so they can continue building their child’s skills after the event. We provide: Certified instructors and trained volunteers Helmets and lights for participants Cones and teaching materials Basic bike safety instruction Minor bike adjustments (seat height, brake checks, tube replacements, etc.) Students must bring: A working bicycle (Instructors will remove training wheels if present). Loaner bikes available as long as they are requested in advance along with the height of the child participating. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water bottle.480-350-5208 CLASS TAKES PLACE OUTSIDE IN CLARK PARK NEAR THE WEST PARKING LOT NEAR THE DOG PARK. https://www.biketempe.org/
