Join us for a free, fun-filled family event featuring a special preview of the PBS program, Nature: Sesame & The Great Elephant Adventure! You’ll discover the wonders of wildlife from AZ Game & Fish, storytime from our friends at South Mountain Community Library, fun make and take activities, and an opportunity take a photo with PBS KIDS character, Carl the Collector. This first-ever Sesame Street and Nature crossover special follows Elmo, Abby and Nina on a once-in-a-lifetime African safari adventure. After adopting an orphaned elephant online, they travel to a Kenyan sanctuary to meet the young elephant and the keepers who care for her, before venturing into the unpredictable African bush and coming face to face with some of nature’s most iconic wildlife. This event is made possible through the generosity of Arizona PBS, Sesame Street Workshop, Phoenix Public Library Foundation, Arizona Game and Fish, and Maricopa Community Colleges.
